RipAd privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
In short: RipAd runs in your browser. It doesn’t collect your browsing data, the ads you look at or what you export. If you buy a paid plan, we only receive what’s needed to deliver and check your licence.
This policy explains how the RipAd browser extension handles data. RipAd is made by PAMEZ LTD (“we”, “us”), trading as 360 Tech Studio, company number 15523320, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the limited personal data described below. For our website, see our website privacy policy.
What RipAd does
RipAd works only on the Meta Ad Library™ pages (facebook.com/ads/library), and only when you click. It reads the ads shown on the page and saves them to your computer as an Excel or CSV file and a ZIP of images and videos.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t collect, store or sell the ads you view or export.
- We don’t read your Facebook account, messages or anything outside the Ad Library.
- We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers inside the extension.
- RipAd has no login and no server-side ad database.
Stored on your device only
RipAd keeps a usage counter, your filter settings, and any ads you choose to save to your swipe file (their text, links, images and videos) in your own browser’s local extension storage. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and is deleted when you remove the ad from your collection, delete the collection, or uninstall RipAd.
Paid plans and payments
If you buy a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe, which processes your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and a licence key so we can deliver and manage your purchase. We never see your full card details.
When you activate a plan, RipAd sends only your licence key and a random browser identifier to our licence server (license.360techstudio.com) to check that your licence is active. This happens when you activate and about once a week. RipAd never sends the ads you view or export, or anything about your Facebook account. You can remove the licence from a browser at any time from RipAd → Manage.
Downloads of images and videos
To save images and videos, RipAd downloads them directly from Meta’s content servers (fbcdn.net) to your computer, the same way your browser loads them when you view the ad.
Feedback and uninstall survey
The Feedback link and the short survey that opens if you uninstall RipAd use Google Forms. Anything you type there is sent to us through Google. Both are optional.
Permissions RipAd uses
- activeTab: to work on the Ad Library tab you’re using, when you click.
- downloads: to save the Excel, CSV and ZIP files to your computer.
- storage: to keep your settings, usage counter and saved ads on your device.
- offscreen: to build the Excel and ZIP files inside your browser.
- Access to facebook.com and fbcdn.net: to read Ad Library pages and download ad images and videos.
How long we keep data
For paid plans, we keep your email address, licence key and purchase records for as long as your plan is active, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep business records (usually up to 6 years in the UK).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. Email support@360techstudio.com. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
RipAd is a business tool and isn’t meant for children under 16.
Changes
If we change how RipAd handles data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
